 Each organization has its own culture that consists of behaviors and norms in terms of the way people operate within it. Depending on the culture of the organization, the environment can be collaborative and team-oriented in a way that produces efficient results or toxic and challenging to navigate resulting in a non-flexible, oppressive workplace.

Think about an organization that you either work in today or have done work for at some point. This can be either paid employment or volunteer work such as in your church or a civic organization. Consider a recent or previous work experience that you had, either toxic or community-centered.

Share your experience with your peers while discussing the value of a community-centered approach. Then share your perspective on how you believe a project manager would thrive or face challenges within that environment, and why. Think about the following as you craft your response:

Was your experience a positive or negative one, and why?

If you were part of a toxic organization, what could you do to influence your organization to be more community-centered?

If you were part of a community-centered organization, what are the key factors that make it community-centered?

Think about how project managers have to create order out of what is sometimes chaos. What would be the major challenges or advantages for project managers in your organisation

The article " Toxic vs. Cooperative Behaviors "was focused on discussing the factors that contribute to toxic workplace by defining the its concepts.it presented insights that shows the need for project managers in an organization to consider the concept  of toxic behaviors. It also portrayed the how the lack of community centered work environment can might impact the productivity.It was clear that toxic environments affects the productivity by interrupting the way Thus, Gilbert, Carr-Ruffino, Ivancevich, & Konopaske, (2012) argues the need for managers and leaders to attempt to reduce the amount of toxic influence within their organizations. we are also encouraged to focus on cultivating a community-centered organizational culture.

My recent experience in a work environment involved a  community-centered organisation that demonstrated the value of a community-centered approach......
