What is Diegetic Sound (Source Music) in the World of Film-Making?

A diegetic sound or music is any sound that originates from the world of a film. Unlike the oral storytelling style, where the narrator creates the words of the story, everything that exists in the world of a film is called the diegesis.

Diegetic Sound (Source Music) in the World of Film Making

From the example of the music video provided above, the audience can hear the sound of a trumpet. However, one is still determining the source of the music at the beginning of the music video. Diegetic or source music is music in a drama (e.g., film or video game) that is part of the fictional setting and is presumably heard by the characters. Based on how the sound changes with scenes and the movements made by the shadow man as he plays the video, can we refer to the music video as an example of "diegetic music/sound"?
