Column Chart Using Table 3 of FBI- Expanded Homicide Data as Reported by UCR data

 

 

Summary

The column graph was created utilizing the data from Table 3 from UCR data which presented the information about the number of hate crime offenses. The table used to create the graph was based on the offense type to show the number of offences distributed by the known offender’s race and ethnicity. Based on the insights presented by the column graph, the highest numbers of offences were conducted by the white people with a total of 1216 offences under the category of crimes against persons. Under the category of crimes against property, the highest crime rate of 1067 was conducted by individuals from unknown ethnicity. However, Unknown offenders reported the highest crime rate of 1014 under the category of crime against society.
